About StrongPoint Closures & Transitions
StrongPoint Closures & Transitions is a specialized commercial trade subcontractor. We partner with General Contractors, commercial facility managers, and property directors across Oklahoma to clear critical-path jobsite bottlenecks.
We do not perform residential moving. We execute high-precision pre-trade site clearances, commercial asset staging, surface armoring (heavy floor and finish protection), and clean-slab handoffs ahead of major construction and remodeling trades.
Our operations run under strict flight-line site discipline, OSHA safety compliance, and zero-defect quality control. We are bringing on a key team member to work alongside the Owner-Operator, learn our systems from the ground up, and step into primary project management as our contract volume scales.
Position Overview & 90-Day Development
This is a hands-on, high-growth role designed for an individual who wants to build a career in commercial construction management and site operations.
- The First 90 Days ($20.00 / Hour): You will work in tandem with the Owner-Operator across active jobsites. You will master our site clearance frameworks, surface armoring protocols, jobsite hazard controls, and quality checklists.
- Post 90-Day Evaluation: Upon successful completion of the training period and demonstration of independent site leadership, your hourly rate increases immediately.
- The Salaried Pathway: As project volume and crew sizes expand, this position transitions directly into a salaried Project Manager / Operations Manager position with direct oversight of field teams, client handoffs, and project execution.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an individual who wants to take ownership of their work and grow into a core executive asset for the company. Key characteristics include:
- Embracing Leadership: You take pride in leading by example on active job sites, maintaining team accountability, and representing the brand professionally in front of GCs and clients.
- Commitment to Continuous Learning: You have a growth mindset, welcome direct operational feedback, and actively seek to expand your knowledge of commercial subcontracting, blueprint reading, and trade logistics.
- Deadline-Driven & Schedule-Focused: You understand that commercial construction runs on tight timelines. You respect client schedules and drive job execution to hit completion windows without sacrificing quality.
- Safety & Quality Control Ownership: You enforce strict safety standards (OSHA compliance, Level D PPE, hazard sweeps) and maintain our zero-defect policy so every job ends with a clean, flawless site handoff.
Core Responsibilities
- Field Execution & Supervision: Assist in directing crew logistics, material handling, surface protection layout (Ram Board, jamb shields), and broom-clean site turnovers.
- Quality & Hazard Assurance: Conduct pre-shift Jobsite Hazard Analyses (JHAs), verify surface armoring integrity, and run final quality control checklists prior to client walkthroughs.
- System Compliance: Enforce flight-line site discipline, ensure proper equipment care, and maintain daily site logs.
- Client & Subcontractor Interaction: Coordinate seamlessly with GC Superintendents, Flooring Contractors, and Facility Leads on active job sites.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (construction management coursework or trade experience a plus).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
- Physical capability to perform team lifts (50+ lbs), operate material handling gear, and work active construction sites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity, sharp professional appearance, and an ironclad work ethic.
